Who We Are

Kabir Sufi Foundation is a registered not-for-profit organization established under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. Based in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, the Foundation works actively for the welfare, protection, and empowerment of vulnerable and marginalized communities especially children, women, and persons with disabilities.

Rooted in the teachings of Sant Kabir and inspired by Sufi values of compassion, justice, and equality, the Foundation takes a holistic and rights-based approach to addressing deeply rooted social challenges.

Our work combines grassroots intervention, awareness-building, and institutional collaboration to ensure that every individual regardless of their background has access to dignity, safety, and opportunity.

Our Approach

Kabir Sufi Foundation follows a multi-dimensional approach that combines prevention, intervention, and rehabilitation.

At the grassroots level, we work directly with children, families, schools, and communities to identify risks and provide timely support. Through awareness programs, counseling sessions, and educational initiatives, we aim to prevent issues such as child abuse, child labour, and school dropouts.

At the intervention level, we provide legal aid, psychological counseling, and rehabilitation support for children who have experienced exploitation or abuse.

Our collaborative approach includes partnerships with local administration, educational institutions, healthcare providers, and child protection systems to ensure a comprehensive and sustainable impact.

Where We Work

Our Area of Operation

Kabir Sufi Foundation primarily operates across Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, and surrounding regions of Eastern Uttar Pradesh. Our outreach spans both urban and rural areas, including underserved communities where children are most vulnerable to neglect, abuse, and lack of access to education and healthcare.

We actively engage with schools, local communities, parents, and government bodies to ensure that our interventions reach those who need them the most.
